"Hey. We're not the ones driving cars and flying jets. It's the consumers who are responsible for fossil fuel emissions, not we the producers." Fossil fuel companies like BP deny responsibility for climate change by claiming they are only responding to consumer demand. The reality is that their production creates the demand whilst providing them with immense profits. It's time we hold them accountable for holding our economies hostage.
