30 Days to Flatten The Curve
Munch initially revealed his artwork "The Scream" in 1893. His inspiration was a feeling of a "scream through nature" or an overwhelming sense of anxiety and panic. His work as an expressionist, and on this piece specifically, remains relevant over 100 years into the future. His controversial work effectively communicated his mental state in the late 1800s. Ultimately, "The Scream" reminds us that our feelings of panic are universal and ironically it leaves us with a sense that hopefully, in time, the panic will pass. I've entitled my study of "The Scream" as "30 Days to Flatten the Curve."
