I wanted to make something optimistic. Much of my work is related to tragic social justice movements, and today I wanted to take a moment to express gratitude for the amount of compassion we are capable of producing. I want to celebrate the necessary changes we will have to make as a society to protect life, to revel in the injustices of our society, the inequity exposed in the pandemic, and use it to become a more tolerant and loving civilization. It requires hope, is requires compassion, but most importantly we must all make the decision to change.
