In this image i am reconnecting with water, the water in the image is a pond that i can find on Mercer Island. Lately I have missed going swimming, though I cannot swim in the pond. I enjoy looking past its clear surface and at the dirty brown rocks below. Occasionally I get the chance to see a large fish in the pond! I don't know what kind of fish it is, or if it's still there, but I see it every once in a while. I hoped to represent that by showing this beautiful cherry tree reflected in the pond inside of me, while putting dry grass on the outside.
