This piece is mixed media using gouache, watercolor, and digital art. My sister is a nurse anesthetist in New Orleans. She has been forced to take shifts in the ICU due to high patient volume and not enough staff. She (along with all of our healthcare workers) is on the front lines fighting this pandemic with the constant concern that they will not have adequate PPE (which they do not). This piece was inspired by her bravery, as well as all of our other healthcare workers and first responders.
