B3 Bus
Painted with oil on wood panel, this painting describes the life of millions of people currently due to unfortunate events with coronavirus. Before I painted this, I was riding on the bus when the first appearance of covid 19 in wuhan was on the news telling us to wear masks. On the bus no one was wearing it. Everyone was close to each other, so close that it was frightening to even go inside the bus, but I did because I had to get home. As I was riding, I saw her, and only her wearing a mask and gloves. You could see from her posture and her expression that she was worried. Worried about what is about to happen in a couple of months.
