“Bitch Stole My Look” did not start out to be social commentary on the Corona Virus-19. It was to be fun, flamboyant and frivolous, my soul sister. We found ourselves quarantined and separated from our families and friends, our professions, from any sense of normalcy that we had previously known. I currently work for a nationally accredited art museum, where I have been for more than 20 years. With these uncertain times, art remains a constant to stabilize the lives of those creating it and those viewing it. When this quarantine is lifted, I will have this sculpture professionally photographed with prints made.
