Breathe

During the COVID-19 pandemic, people may experience stress, anxiety, fear, sadness, and loneliness. It is important to maintain mental wellness in order to fight the pandemic. I think mental breakdowns or extreme stress or anxiety can lead people to break isolation and social distancing. Helping others cope with their stress can make our community stronger. I am a yoga teacher and I strongly believe that taking deep breaths, stretching, and meditating help maintain good mental health, and I strongly advise everybody to try it. During yoga classes, yoga teachers are always saying “And…don't forget to breathe.”
