It has become apparent that the global healthcare crisis caused by the Corona Virus and all the intersectional relationships with economic inequity, colonialism, racism, sexism, and militarism all share one primary cause and accelerator - capitalism. There is no compelling reason why the world's economy should be run by corporate oligarchies gambling in the stock market. Mixed socialist/capitalist economies are ubiquitous in the world, it's time to tilt the balance to socialist economic models. The entire world recognizes the Statue of Liberty and her sun-rayed 'corona', the merging of this icon with the form of the virus signifies the overcoming of demonification of the virus and the optimistic hope that, once the fuse is lit, a truly equitable economic system can spread through the world eradicating Capitalism the true disease of our times.
