The global Covid-19 pandemic has thrust healthcare workers into overburdened and underfunded environments, often risking their own safety for the well-being of patients. My sister is training to be a doctor, and the thought of her being on the front lines gives me an overwhelming empathy for not only our essential workers, but also their families. This piece commemorates these workers both with the use of the color blue and a message of unending gratitude.
