This piece is painted images cut up and reposed during the quarantine. Utilizing resources. Multimedia fabric, glue, paper mache mailing, etc. It is about 4 feet by 2 feet, I may have it grow as time progresses. It represents our spaces as we gather within the walls of homes and hospitals fighting this, as life progresses we can come from within our walls into the exterior and reconnect in a tangible manor. The piece is made from things within my home, the paper is made from receipts and anything coming in while under quarantine. The fabric a testimony to our cultures and the shapes representing we are one, our homes, our communities. Inside, outside, the fabric of each other's lives. We need each other even more now, as we are social distancing, and simply what is important within, hopefully making humanity stronger for what we've gone through as a whole. Some squares are quiet, empty, and hold loss. Some have more movement. life.
