As I was looking for a symbol that would position the vaccine as a way to get the world back to "peace times" again, I realized that what we are waiting to see is actually to see these words on the cover of a newspaper on a newspaper stand: "covid is over", just like we would want to see "war is over" in 1945 if we were at war. But a even better and responsible way to address this, would be to make it just like john lennon did with his poster. So I tried to repurpose that, as it was an even better fit for now, since all of our actions are an even more direct way to make the pandemic end (or bring it to very reduced numbers), than in a war. But also, at the same time, it could be a way to say that you can't put a "social" end the pandemic, so the copy line "if you want it" had to be risked with a pen, and be confronted with the other interpretation of how to end a pandemic: by our actions, vaccines, and everything else. I think this idea could be very powerful, specially when used on big surfaces, on buildings, times squares.
