My artwork is a reflection of a true story of a women I know who "crowned" in pregnancy with her baby during the Corona Virus pandemic. She tested positive right in Queens New York at the epicenter and by God's grace lived to tell about the experience. She represents so many fortunate moms of this sensitive era. My art speaks to the irony that the dictionary defines Corona as a part of the body resembling or likened to a crown! This particular baby was born in Queens! Oh the unspoken blessings in the messaging of this story: )! I feel these Crown babies as oppose to Corona babies are a sign of endless possibilities present in striving to be hopeful and overcome this now and in future generations.
