This work is intended to insert laughter and connection where there may be isolation, insecurity, loneliness, or abandonment. I think a lot of people following stay at home orders are finding that the choice to have a non traditional relationship model for themselves to be particularly challenging now, when we don’t have the freedom to connect with those we don’t live with. I feel a sense of solidarity with the world as I accept the challenges of social distancing to prevent the spread of corona virus. I hope this sense of aloneness can dually serve as an opportunity to explore self sufficiency in terms of giving ourselves what we need with radically courageous indulgence and joy.
