Deed and Truth
More than 40 million people in the U.S. live in poverty. This pandemic hit them hardest. It’s long past time for systemic changes. Those who have shown compassion in small ways throughout the past few months can extend that compassion again when they vote. If we as a country can’t provide necessities to every citizen, how advanced is our society really? I’m not Christian, but nonetheless it’s inspiring that Jesus promoted generosity and was in fact homeless himself. The brightest, most hard-working, most resilient and compassionate people are those who live in poverty. It’s time to fight for them.
