The first of my Quarantine Series. This started out as an unemployed barista, but coffee shops remain open—even if they’re take away only. I tried to think of which service to represent here, and settled on the term “Nonessential” as that covers the entire spectrum of the astounding amount of people unemployed and now without health care. I hope this makes people think of how many people out there who were put out of jobs in order to preserve the health of the community, and how little the government is helping them.
