This Albert Einstein quote is poignant in contrast to the phrase "shut down" that is being used to describe the current state of our societal norms. With rising anxieties due to drastic and sudden changes to our "normal" this notion provides an air of hope that even though we may not be able to direct our energies as we normally would, that doesn't mean our abilities and efforts have to cease to exist. We can pivot, redirect, transfer, and transform. Perhaps rather than simply a time of quarantining, this is a time of cocooning. Perhaps the best is yet to come.
