In continuity with the amazing #TheFrontStepsProject project started in the United States, I've launched #SurLePasDeLaPorte in Montreal, Qc. Canada. On the one hand to immortalize forever this unique period of community and global solidarity, but on the other hand, to support our dear health system and our local businesses, I decided to offer photoshoots on people's frontsteps to raise funds to support small businesses who chose to offer their help to our health system by manufacturing medical equipment by their own means. I raised over 8000$ by photographing more than 60 families, couples and roommates around the island and ended up hearing amazing testimonies, noticing touching stories, meeting people of all kinds. I've been choked by my encounter with this intensive care nurse in front of the busiest hospital in Canada with Covic19 patients. She talked to me about her everyday job with such empathy and strenght that she gave me full trust in our system and hope for the future.
