To acknowledge the important role of women of colour in the fight against COVID-19, this poster uses two domestic symbols traditionaly connected to women. The clay pitcher is not only a symbol of water and women but also of the human body as it contains ever essential water as the body holds the human soul in one place. Also essential access to clean water and soap. I believe these are basic needs and should be acknowledged as human rights as they directly translate to the right to health care and the right to life.
