I made thiswatercolor graphic after noticing on my Covid constitutionals that when giving each other space on the sidewalk, everyone immediately puts their eyes down, retracting into their personal anxiety bubble. Only once in a while, when social distancing turned into an awkward dodge and feint routine, would a smile of bemused solidarity break the surface.
