Asian Americans are scared for their safety not in fear of the virus but the backlash they face. Stories of Asian Americans getting spit on, beat up, threatened, and slandered circulate the media. I was so enraged by this I needed a way to get a message out. Though I am not chinese (i’m part korean) it is hard to stand by and watch this happen to asians. My dad is a doctor in the intensive care unit taking care of patients with corona virus; he doesn’t care what race his patients are.
