This is a beautifully textured acrylic on solid board. I started out with a winter abstract vase. It was dull and lacked contrast and direction so I changed my mind: This woman emerged in such freedom and boldness under my pallet knife. She's renewed her mind (her hair is the original flowers that remained from the floral abstract) and is fixing her thoughts on higher things, making beautiful plans, choosing life and love as she's leaving winter behind.
