I painted this piece as a fundraiser for one of my galleries. I was so struck by the images of nurses and medical staff online with bruised faces from wearing goggles and masks all day. This is my thank you to them for their dedication and self sacrifice in the face of this terrible pandemic! They are the true hero's of 2020.
