Give and take

A linocut that echoes the powerful words of a radical Naepolitan doctor (made a saint after his death), St Giuseppe Moscati, who while alive looked after the poor and destitute, and had a notice up in his office which read “Those who can, please give. Those who can not, please take.” A simple idea that resources are enough for all, if only we learn to circulate them properly and with great generosity. These words have been popping up in the city of Naples during the COVID-19 crisis, with people sharing the little they have with those who have even less.
