GrandSlam is my community engagement contribution to this important campaign. Here in Chattanooga Tennessee, I still see people going about their business in public without masks and gloves. This message is about teamwork. We will not get through these difficult times unless we all work together to defeat this devastating virus. This is a call to action for us to be all-stars and knock this virus out of the park. I also feel that it is important to remind people to love not only our immediate family but the global family as well. Using baseball as a metaphor could resonate with the public and help people to save lives by complying with protocol until we are all safe from this devastating virus.
