I am the Mother of the artist of this piece, Arabella Davis. Early in quarantine, an image of the earth came to me. It looked wounded, weary and weak. After describing this image to a friend, she cleverly added a mask. Inspired, I shared this vision with Arabella who quickly brought it to life. Handle with Care depicts the earth as hurting and yet healing at the same time. It speaks to where we are now as well as an inspiration for our future world - one where humanity will hopefully handle each other and our world with more mindful care.
