Harmful words are deadlier than virus but Kind words bring peace
Using watercolor, I’m showcasing two contrasting scenes: frustrated neighbours in masks yelling at each other vs. loving neighbours at peace. Masks may be able to block virus from spreading but cannot stop words from causing harm, as seen. In light of the coronavirus, I think of the whistleblower Dr. Li. Though he’s speaking the truth, it was covered up by lies and threats. Without addressing it immediately, the outbreak became disastrous. This shows the destructive power of harmful words. In contrast, we could use our words wisely to bring peace and love. Such words involve “purity, peace-loving, consideration.. (James 3:17)”
