This is an image I painted of my Dad, who is a physician and my hero. He is in his work clothes, which is his uniform outside of the hospital. The Dogwood is his favorite tree, but also perfect b/c trees are stoic, wise, and dignified in the face of changing seasons and the Dogwood specifically is a symbol of resurrection.
