As I watch the world from my studio and feel the collective anxiety of my global family, I realize how difficult it is for the rest of the world to live as I do — in isolation. For an artist alone in the studio, this is a natural state of being...not so much for everyone else. As I ponder this current health crisis, I find solace in a deep sense of knowing that we are not alone in this struggle. We are truly a global family and even if we must be separate for now to save lives, we will reunite as a stronger community. In the immortal words of the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., "We shall overcome..."
