I wanted to do a painting reminiscent of a 60’s concert poster for the healthcare workers since they’re rock stars in concert in my book. I’ve always been attracted to the caduceus symbol as a medical symbol. I updated it by adding more twists of the snakes to represent the chakras and added a dragon eye like the Egyptian eye of Horus. I made the staff a sword because I feel these workers are warriors. The two small blue circles on the side of this caduceus/chakra symbol are Covid-19 . I wanted to make the invisible visible and dwarfed in relation to the power of the caduceus/chakra sword which the healthcare workers have in their arsenal as a magical power from the gods for the continuation of humanity
