My piece is a diptych (meant to be viewed together) consisting of two drawings. The first drawing shows a hand reaching up with the message in the background that says, "What do you need." The second drawing shows a hand reaching down with the message in the background that says, "I want to help." Since the quarantine first started, over and over I have seen my community join together to check in on one another. Technology has it's faults for sure, but in this time I have witnessed it's tender side which is that it allows us to help one another. This piece is how I visualize and abstract my own approach to providing compassion to those I love.
