“Hope Is Important”
“Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.” ― Thich Nhat Hanh, This quote spoke to me at this challenging time. I'm thinking a lot about the cognitive dissonance between how beautiful and alive the spring flowers are that I see on my daily walks in Los Angeles and the horror of the global pandemic. We're all trying to be grateful for the little things-- like the beauty of a flower-- and also be brave and keep a sense of hope for the future.
