The idea for this piece came to me during quarantine, when I've been spending a lot of time looking out the window, hoping things would get better. Using the NHS blue colour palette, I wanted to depict frontline healthcare workers as superheroes, currently risking their lives out there fighting a battle with the virus. The little girl is doing her part by staying at home, wishing she could help.
