A collage of the Hope Medallions series, a group of six mini-murals to be installed on May 11th, 2020 in Center City, Philadelphia. As quarantine continues, it feels important to use art as a way to remind each other of our capacity for incredible fortitude. The Hope Medallions seek to do just that by displaying powerful words immersed in beautiful patterning and gold accents. The Hope Medallions are hand-painted by Hagopian Arts, a small female-owned and operated public art initiative known for “fine-art” murals that are highly detailed, luminous, and inspired by nature.
