Oil paint on board, 75cm x 75cm, with audio recording. Part of my new 'Rainbow' series of works. This body of work explores how each sitter is maintaining positive mental health during this time. The audio reveals the spoken words of each sitter. Here, doctor Sophie, is working on the front line and caught the virus herself. She speaks about the struggles she has faced but more importantly the positives and what she is grateful for. There will be 7 installations in total, one for each colour of the rainbow - a symbol of hope and happiness.
