Self Portrait in Oils on canvas. I went out for essential supplies the other day with my gloves and mask on. Now I am not an overly paranoid person or a germaphobe, I do this out of respect for the situation we are in, respect for myself, my family, respect for everyone that I may encounter while I am out and ultimately the human race. I am shocked at how many people are not also respecting this situation. I am still a small percentage of people that are covering up their face in public here in Ocala Florida. I am then looked at by many people as if I’m sick, as if I am the virus! I still can’t believe that people working registers at the grocery stores who come in contact with hundreds of people a day aren’t covering up! It’s not just for you, it’s for all of us! We need to slow the spread, we need everyone on the same page. First and foremost staying home unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! If you do go out mask up and show your fellow humans that you care about them and our chances for survival.
