Immigrants are essential workers
It is estimated that more than 700,000 people living in the US are DACA recipients; 27,000 of those are healthcare workers from doctors, nurses to environmental service staff. They are heroes helping in the front lines whose future and livelihood is at risk by the possibility of the program being revoked. At a time when immigrant communities are constantly under attack and are at the most vulnerable, we are witnessing how essential they are for the country.
