Isolation Lollipop
The image of something pretty, whimsical and delicious can be uplifting during the quarantine of a pandemic. I haven't eaten a lollipop in a long time, but the memory of how much I liked them becomes hope for something fun to enjoy in the future. In the drawing, the room pales in comparison to the sweetly-colored candy. I believe that hope can keep people well. (Colored pencil and pencil on watercolor paper. 6.5x7 cm / 2.6x2.8 in.
