During the time that Barcelona and Spain were on lockdown, a special day called Sant Jordi's Day came and went without celebrations in the city. Normally, it's on April 23, and everybody on the streets is carrying roses and books. It's my favorite day to go out and take photos, but this year it was canceled and pushed forward to July 23. When I found out, I wanted to express my general sadness but also hope in a drawing - hope that the feelings and ideas about roses lives on in people's hearts and memories, larger in the imagination than in reality.
