The inspiration for this drawing came from a photo of my mom about to enter the COVID unit. My mom and I came up with this piece together. She came up with the concept and I executed it. To me this drawing represents the sacrifice that healthcare workers are making to keep others safe, and the hope that they can get the equipment they need to keep themselves safe. I am very thankful for the bravery of all healthcare staff, especially mothers.
