I was driving down the a street in Chicago on march 17th, a few days after the mayor announced the stay-at-home ordinance, as I pulled up to the stop sign I see a group of children playing on scooters all wearing gloves and masks. It was at that moment that I realized the gravity of this situation we’re all in. It had to be one of the most surreal, profound things I have ever seen. I hope I’m wrong, but I feel like the effects that this epidemic will have on all of us socially will be felt for generations.
