Football players are kneeling before America’s flag during our national anthem in order to protest police brutality and wide-spread racism. Even though the athlete in the middle would rather stand than kneel, he still has his arms interlocked with the protesters, showing that he is still supporting their struggle. I believe this shows a powerful sense of unity and social change depending on how it’s viewed.
