Lean on Me
In times like these it is more important than ever to break past misconceptions and improve our mental health. There are a lot of issues in the black community that tend to focus on black men and tell them that they are weak if they show any kind of sadness or hurt. I’d like my piece to show a present and future where black men can lean on and support each other openly as friends through troubling feelings. This piece shows that black men also need support improving their mental health and can count on friends not to judge.
