A Constant cycle of night and day; balance (the good / bad, making the whole) - cyclical, fleeting, yet permanent - like our emotions and thoughts. We are held by the earth under foot, all connected in this way and part of the wider universe. There is always some light around us; we’re never in the dark / alone. The fence; symbolises barriers we learn to keep, in social contexts; we can grow from stable surrounds / networks. The flowers / garden represent emotions; we grow in parallel to them, they need tending; but we are not our emotions.
