Live In The Present
“LIVE IN THE NOW! When I am anxious, it is because I am living in the future. When I am depressed, it is because I am living in the past. We crucify ourselves between two thieves: regret for yesterday and fear of tomorrow.” These words have never rung truer than during the crisis that we find ourselves in now. Embracing what is right in front of me and ignoring the distractions of yesterday and tomorrow has helped my mental health. I hope this piece helps others stay strong - we are in this together.
