We are experiencing an unprecedented moment of fear and instability. This fear has spread like a virus, from one person to the next, threatening to infect all who stand in its path. But just as contagious as fear is love. Love is spread by our kindness, empathy, and support of one another through difficult times. It’s so incredibly infectious that it can be transmitted through something as simple as a smile. I made this poster to inspire hope at a time when many messages have seemed hopeless. Even though many of us are isolated, we still have agency and the ability to perform acts of love for ourselves and others. We are connected. We are in this together. And we will prevail. Lastly, the quote from Louise Hay was written at the height of the AIDS epidemic. It is as relevant now as it was then.
