The latest events and the little we know about Covid 19 has made difficult to understand the importance of wearing a mask, not only to protect ourselves from Covid but being aware of our civic responsibility to protect others from us too. My design is a poster inspired by the Mexican Wrestling Culture of the 70’s still found today in barrios where friends and families get together and root for one of the luchadores. Following this popular narrative, I designed a Lucha poster to promote the use of a mask to fight the virus, I hope my design and humor can reach a wider audience than a Mexican barrio and help drive a real change for the future new normal
