I used cultural artifacts to hide the visage of the subject to express how some cultural practices and conventional norms in my context could be discouraging individuals to fully express and be themselves and at the same time even deny them vision of what they could become. This threatens the mental health of it's people, especially the youth; I have been a victim since at such a young age my career choice still bothers me to a great extent. Am I doing it for myself or just to please around me? This is a call to mend some of these ill tendencies and allow people to be free.
