The term "metamorphosis" entails change. Within this past year, I've gone through many changes. Despite the hurt I've experienced, it pushed me to self-reflect and reconnect with myself. I'm letting go of a piece of me that has built the person I am today in order to move forward with the person I'm becoming. Just like a butterfly, it grows into a beautiful creature the moment it lets go of the comfort of its cocoon.
