This piece is part of a larger ongoing campaign by the entity Empire Citizens (EMPR CTZNS), that has been actively "sowing seeds of malcontent" through guerrilla art means for the past five years. This image in particular is responding to the social upheaval that the Covid 19 epidemic has unleashed on the globe. Specifically in response to the nefarious power grab that inevitably follows a crisis by the Statet that is effected. Not only are people's lives in turmoil, but they must also endure further attempts to erode civil rights, loosen environmental regulations, and attempts to profit off of crisis. However, it is a tipping point on which the poor and disenfranchised can work together to demand higher standards of living and response from those in power to work towards a better future, hence the image of the go-to revolutionist weapon, the Molotov cocktail.
